Marjorie J. Worley, 79, of Loganton, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, November 18, 2011 surrounded by those who loved her.
She was born on May 19, 1932 in Sacramento, CA. After graduating from BIOLA University, Los Angeles, CA, she married Pastor Clyde L. Worley on June 2, 1956. Margie was a dedicated minister's wife her entire married life, first in Annisville, PA and later in this area. After moving to this area in 1981, she worked as a secretary at Pennsylvania College of Technology until her retirement in 1994.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to Clyde, her husband of 55 years, she leaves behind a son, Tim (Tammy)Worley,  of Butler, 3 daughters; Karen (Bob) Stauffer, Freeburg, Cara (Rob) Stone, Loganton, Susan (Claude) Adams, Greenville, SC, a foster daughter Gloria (Bill) Hurney, McConnellsburg, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Margie came to know the Lord as her personal Savior as a teenager. She desired to glorify Him in the way she lived her life. Her strong faith in the Lord was evident to everyone who came into contact with her as she accepted and faced the cancer that ended her earthly life and ushered her into eternity in heaven.
A visitation will be held on Tues. Nov. 22, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM followed by a funeral service to be held at Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Rd., Loganton, PA. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Margie may be sent to The Hope of Glory Bible Church, 508 Cemetery Rd., Muncy, PA 17756, where her husband Clyde is pastoring. The gifts will be given to Calvin Sears, missionary to Mexico, in order to further spread the gospel of Jesus.

My Prayers and Sympathy to the Worley family. I remember them so well from my childhood days when we attended the Annisville Church in PA. A strong faith and love for God was instilled in me that never ended. God Bless and be with your family.

My condolences to Pastor Worley, Cara, and the rest of the Worley family. Marjorie was very kind to me when I was a student at Walk-Way Vocational and Bible Institute and attended her husband's church, Avis Bible Church. She opened her home on many occasions where I enjoyed home-cooked meals and hung out with Cara. She always had a kind and encouraging word to say. I particularly remember my first attempt at being a chalk artist at the church's Vacation Bible School. She encouraged my very novice attempt. She left a legacy of faithfulness to God and her family and heaven is sweeter because she is there.
