Caroline A Himmelwright

Caroline A. Himmelwright, 86, 1166 Fishing Creek Road, Mill Hall, PA died July 14, 2019 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College, PA. Born January 25, 1933 in Mingoville, PA  she was the daughter of the late William F. and Anna Fogleman Sproul. On April 21, 1957 she married Glenn E. Muthler who died July 29, 1973. On August 6, 1976 she married Edward Himmelwright who survives at home.  

A graduate of the Walker Twp. High School, Caroline had worked at Gettig Engineering, worked on the farm with her husband, Glenn and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Clintondale United Methodist Church and had been member of the B.E.N. band parents organization. She had been an activemember of the Beech Creek & Pomona Granges.  Caroline enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, crafts, visiting with her family and family picnics. She had also been the first  female member of the Mill Hall School Board and served as the Secretary-Treasurer.

She is survived by:

 1 Daughter, Anna M. (Brian) Douty, Loganton, PA

 *** Preceded in death by:

 4 Sisters: Verna Kerstetter, Sara Zerby, Martha Bartley and Ida Breon

 4 Brothers:  Samuel, Harvey, Mahlon and William Sproul

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall, PA

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clintondale United Methodist Church thru the funeral home.
