Charles A. Eisenhower

March 27, 1928 ~ January 14, 2019 (age 90)

Charles A. (Bud) Eisenhower, 90, passed peacefully January 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving son and daughter in-law. Born March 27, 1928 in Salona, PA he was the son of the late Bruce and Dorothy D. Brumgart Eisenhower. On November 27, 1954 he married Madeline M Heimer who died November 16, 2012.

Charles was a member of the Salona Lutheran Church and a U. S. Navy veteran of W.W.II. Following his military service he worked at Piper Aircraft Corp. as a machinist for 33 years, at Lockheed for 2 ½ years and Brodart for 3 years. He was a member of the East End Camp.  He was an avid Penn State fan and also  enjoyed  hunting, gardening, farming, his tractor, woodworking ,bowling and outings with his family for dinner.  He was truly a “hands on guy”.

He is survived by:

      2 Sons:  Leonard (Angela) Eisenhower, Mill Hall, PA And Charles A. (Cynthia) Eisenhower, Jr., San Rafael, CA

       5 Grandchildren

       1 Great-Grandchild

       1 Sister: Anna Rhine, Mill Hall, PA

       1 Brother: Richard Eisenhower, Mill Hall, PA

       4 Sisters:  Jean Butler, Louise Krall, Carolyn Jameson, and Barbara Grand

       1 Brother: Jack M. Eisenhower

A Memorial Service honoring the life of Charles A. (Bud) Eisenhower will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with his pastor, Rev. Karl Runser, III officiating. Interment, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, PA.

Friends will be received in the funeral home 1 hr. prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Salona Lutheran Church through the funeral home.
