Fred C. Yearick, 87, 1351 Fox Hollow Road, Mill Hall, PA died April 1, 2018 at his home. Born July 11, 1930 in Mill Hall he was the son of the late Robert Musser and Clara Yearick.
Fred was a 1948 graduate of the Lock Haven High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was discharged as a quartermaster 2nd class. For his service he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal.
On July 2, 1955 he married Grace A. Keifer who died February 24, 2017.
He retired from International Paper Co. after 35+ years. Fred was an active member of the Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ, a member of the former Nittany Grange, the National Grange, a Forest Fire Warden, a former member of the Bald Eagle-Nittany School Board, a former Porter Twp. Supervisor. He enjoyed farming and hunting.

3 sons: Kevin R. Yearick, Mill Hall, PA; Douglas C. (Darcey) Yearick, Loganton, PA and Brian W. (Donna) Yearick, Bear, DE.
A memorial service honoring the life of Fred C. Yearick will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2 PM in the Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ, 6031 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, PA with Pastor Cindy Killinger officiating. Interment, Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
