Lillian F. Ruhl, 92, a resident at the Susque-View Home, Lock Haven, formerly of McElhattan and Lock Haven died March 15, 2018 at Susque-View. Born January 13, 1926 in Lock Haven she was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Wagner James. On May 24, 1945 she married Arthur D. Ruhl who died January 1, 1991.
Lillian was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, gardening and she hosted a number foster children.
She is survived by:
2 Daughters: Charlotte S. (Dr. Larry) Bason and Tammy L. (Terry) Bauman both of Mill Hall, PA
1 Sister: Charlotte Breon, Orlando, FL
4 Grandchildren: Tracie A. Bowes, Robert W. Bowes, II, Connor B. A. Bauman and Collin R. Bauman
1 Great-Granddaughter: Kylie E. Bowes

She is also survived by her longtime friend and companion, Joseph Morton, Mill Hall, PA.
A funeral service honoring the memory of Lillian F. Ruhl will be held Sunday March 18, 2016 at 2:30 P.M. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with Pastor Susan Champion officiating. Interment, Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Friends will be received in the funeral home 1 hour prior to services.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton Co. SPCA through the funeral home.
