Thomas E. Bittner, 73, 117 N. Chestnut St. Mill Hall, PA passed from this life at the Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport, PA surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born October 6, 1947 in Lock Haven, PA. On July 3, 1968 in Beech Creek he married Patricia A. Fetterman who survives at home. He was a 1965 graduate of the Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
Tom was a 33 year employee of the Clinton Co. Conservation District serving for 10 years as a senior resource conservationist. He also retired from the Air National Guard after serving 26 years as a Senior Master Sergeant in charge of the Operations Section of the 112th Tactical Control Squadron. Tom served as Mayor of Mill Hall for 20 years and served on Borough Council for 16 years, 5 years as council president. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. # 182, Lock Haven, PA, was a long time member of the Volunteer Fire Co., Mill Hall. He enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables, hunting and fishing until his health declined.

2 Granddaughters: Morgan S. (Evan Duck) Bittner and Claire E. Stein
1 Great-Grandson: Weston Daniel Thomas Duck
1 sister: Tami A. Little, Montgomery, PA

A memorial service honoring the life of Thomas E. Bittner will be held May 25, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home,320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with Pastor Susan Champion officiating. Friends will be received from 5-6:45 PM in the funeral home with an Elks Memorial Service at 6:45 PM.
Military honors will be rendered following the service.
